Our Commitment

ECRA (Early China Research Assistant) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Target Compliance Date: April 24, 2026 (ADA Title II Deadline)

  • Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
  • ARIA labels and landmarks for screen reader users
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
  • Proper heading hierarchy for document structure
  • Alternative text for images and visualizations
  • Live regions for dynamic content announcements
  • Multi-language support (English, Chinese)

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are working to address them:

  • Some complex data visualizations (network graphs) may not be fully accessible to screen readers
  • PDF documents may not be fully accessible
